I hope these experiments in rendering different vignettes of winter weather create a nice, cozy environment for you.
released March 5, 2021
performed, recorded, mixed, mastered and marker art/layout by John Mitchell
Tracks 1, 2 and 5 were created in early 2021 with a Ciat-Lonbarde Plumbutter, Meng Qi Rollz-5+, the Norns app Bounds and a granular processor. 3 was created in early 2020 with various eurorack modules. Track 4 is a guitar recording processed with pedals and synth modules created in mid 2020. All are ran through a Marantz PMD-430 tape deck, with various amounts of physical manipulation applied during the process of dubbing.

This is an adventurous and diverse release that I am sure will provide many hours of deep listening enjoyment. There is plenty of immediacy to be found in these tracks as well, with the beautiful "will it be" serving as a standout. The Lifted Index
There is a subtle but undeniable groove that exists across the entirety of ‘be’. The sounds created by Jogging House are immaculately crafted, of course, with space to breathe and morph in an organic way. But it is the slight swing of “Yours” and the 6/8 sway of “Strings” that keeps me coming back for more. Jogging House continues to deepen his already impressive catalog. The Lifted Index
